I’m only young. I had the pleasure of knowing Sr Norah through my mum. She was a wonderful woman and I looked up to her so much. I’m approaching first year in Muckross. Although I will be sad she is not there physically for me to talk to about Muckross as I know she loved the school very much. I know she is there in spirit. Condolences to her family. Norah was so incredibly special to our family. Not only is she my husband John's aunt, but our daughter is named after her. I remember her being so welcoming and loving when I joined the family. Her prayer at our wedding was beyond special. When our daughter born and needed a lot of prayers for survival, our immediate thought was to name her after Norah in hopes it would give her strength and a zest for life. My daughter loved drawing pictures and mailing them overseas to "Auntie Norah". And, especially loved the beautiful notes she received back. Norah will be greatly missed but we hope a little bit of her compassion and grace will shine through in her namesake. RIP Norah. Through love and memories, you are immortal.

Sr Norah was a great lady. Through the 80s in Muckross she was Principal to us all & could keep us in check, with a straight face and a twinkle in her eyes as we got up to devilment.
I visited the convent often over the years, bringing my own children, and she always came to greet us with enthusiasm and kindness.
Condolences to all her Dominican colleagues, family and friends.

Deepest condolences to the family, Dominican sisters and the many friends of Sr. Norah. As principal she had a broad view of education, understanding the value of experience as much as the value of academic work. She was always truly welcoming and joyful when I, and many others, returned to the annual PPU Christmas parties in Muckross with our children. Her passing seems in many ways the end of an era. Her impact and legacy continues.

I was deeply shocked to hear of Norahs death. So sorry to be away for the funeral.Norah was a woman of deep faith who was an outstanding educator. As Principal of Muckross Park she was an inspiration in upholding and spreading the Domination ethos. As a friend she was peerless.37 years ago she invited to play a small part in the life of the school ,for which I’m deeply grateful and she assisted me as a Council member of Catholic Youth Care. I will most remember the smile and the twinkle in the eye . Keep an eye on Muckross dear Norah. You were a treasure.Love Jim
