We got to know Sr Patricia down the year from the visits/holidays to the Leddy/Donovan cousins in Araglen, Ballyporeen and Kilworth with the Mullinahone O'Byrnes. It was a joy to meet Sr Patricia as she was always in great humour which was infectious when meeting her. Her enquiring and informed mind made for wonderful discussions which will be missed. May she rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to the O'Byrne Family and the Presentation Sisters on the passing of Sr Patricia. She was such a dear sweet person. We were neighbours of the Sisters in Carlow and many a time she would pop over to our house for a chat and a cuppa. She also taught me in Scoil Mhuire. In later years herself and her dear friend Sr Consulata would often visit my mother. They were a joy to witness together. Always full of fun. She was also a very spiritual lady and always willing to lend a helping hand. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

My heartfelt sympathy to the O’Byrne family and the Presentation Sisters on the passing of Sr. Patricia. I was one of the lucky pupils in Scoil Mhuire Gan Smål to have sister Patricia teach me in 5th class. I was always convinced I was her favourite but I think every pupil thought the same. Sr. Patrica remembered me in my own grief and I will treasure her words of hope at that time. I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Sr. Patricia last year and she sounded like she did all those years ago with the same great humour.
