Marie I’m so sorry to hear your lovely Aunt has died. Sincere sympathy to you and your Family and to her Religious Community. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace.
— Margaret Dunny
Deepest sympathies to Carmel and Brian and all who are feeling the loss of our wonderful grandaunt Rita. My mother Peggy always spoke fondly of Rita and I was always happy to join the visits in to see her in the convent. I remember from my schooldays in Loreto I was called out one day to the Principal's office on the intercom in the middle of class. I thought I was in trouble, but it was actually because Rita was visiting the Loreto nuns with a group of visiting refugees. She had asked if her grandniece could join for their visit. It was a lovely surprise! Rest in Peace Rita xxx

Memories keep reminding me of who Sr. Regina Keyes was in my life while searching for a vocation suited for me. She was my first employer, having worked with her in the Presentation Community in Himamaylan right after my graduation from college. My first invitation and attendance to a search-in was facilitated by her, being the vocation promoter of the Presentation Sisters in the Philippines then. I am who I am today as a Presentation Sister partly because of her.
My heartfelt condolences to the family of Sr. Regina and to the Sisters in Kilkenny Community and the NE Province. Farewell, Sr. Regina. You will always remain in my heart and mind.

The Philippine Unit of the Presentation Sisters express our deepest sympathies to the Keyes family and to our sisters in the Northeast Unit in Ireland especially in Kilkenny Community for the passing of Sr. Regina Keyes, the last of the founding sisters of the mission in the Philippines. We thank God for the courage and generosity of Sr. Regina for being one of the 4 sisters who brought the light of Nano Nagle to our part of the world. We are ever grateful for her contribution to the mission in the Philippines particularly in education and enabling poor but deserving students to have access to education when she began the Presentation Community Center in Himamaylan. Sr. Regina was a gift to the member-families of the Center who express their gratitude for her goodness and help.
We are united with you in prayer as we lay Sr. Regina to rest today. May God grant her eternal rest and may she rest in peace.

My warmest condolences and sympathy to the Keyes family especially to Elaine who has tirelessly and patiently updated me with the health status of Sister Regina since she was moved to the nursing home & until her passing. I’ve known Sister Regina in the early 60’s when I was just 12 years old during her time in the Philippines. She was not only my mentor but became also my best friend & had the privilege to visit her in Ireland twice during my European trips. She has impacted the world in so many beautiful ways & as a very lost teen myself, she has influenced me on what I become today; a successful chemist, with 3 beautiful, successful children where she had the opportunity to see & enjoy one of my daughter’s performances in Ireland during a world tour with her group “Hi-5”. I deeply cherish the memories of Sister Regina and I am sure she will never be forgotten as I got married on the same day as her birthday. She will always hold a special place in my heart. “Rest in Peace my dear friend, my mentor & my saviour. May you enjoy the peace and the love of the Farther. I love you....‘til we meet again”.
