Heartfelt condolences to Sr. Vera’s family and the Sisters of Mercy. We were very lucky to share pivotal times in our lives with Sr. Vera at Scoil Chaitríona. She was a kind, considerate leader with very high emotional intelligence and sensitivity. Sr. Vera was School Principal for much of my time as a pupil, but also a respected and cherished boss and confidante to my late Mum, Leila, for much longer over her career there as PE Teacher. May she rest in peace, knowing how highly she was valued.
