Like so many from Bruff, I am indebted to Veronica's influence most especially in education and music as both fields became my profession. Her warmth, care and genuine interest in everyone was remarkable. Her music enriched lives. A most inspirational woman dearly loved by the people of Bruff.

May choirs of angels come to greet her and speed her to paradise; may she find eternal peace.

We will always remember Sr Veronica as someone whose energy and commitment to teaching were formidable. I recall that on the last day of 6th class in primary school she told us never to let our age dictate what we do in life. What a woman of wisdom.
