Dear Collette Adam, David and Katie, I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Stephens passing. I met Stephen about 5 years ago through one body as a patient, but I can honestly say I viewed him as a friend after just a few sessions. I imagine most people who came in contact with Stephen felt this way.. he exuded a joy and energy that is rare. He was his fully authentic self at all times. Curious, knowledgeable, very funny, and above all, intensely interested
in people and learning new things. We talked about work, philosophy, how much he loved his family, martial arts, the similarity of our working class childhoods and just about everything else under the sun. We got on so well that we agreed we should meet up for a proper chat outside of the physio sessions, but we never managed to organise it due to life and work commitments. Stephen was one of the very best, and the world will be a lesser place without him in it. He will always have a place in my thoughts and I will miss him. Rest in peace my friend.
