My deepest sympathy to Tess' family on her passing. Only tonight in the Church in Booterstown did I hear of her death as it was her Months Mind. May she rest in peace. A lovely elegant lady I spent a lot of time in her company in the past and it was always most enjoyable.

I have many happy memories of working with Tess in CERT and then Failte Ireland. Her name was known far and wide amongst career guidance teachers, college registrars and hopeful industry recruits as she led recruitment campaigns for many years and indeed trained many of her colleagues in this area. With a sharp wit - she could sort out many an argument or problem. Always a lady, she was great fun and a true legend who will be missed by so many .RIP Tess

We would like to express our condolences to the O’Brennan family on the sad passing of Tess. We are writing this on behalf of our Mum Kathleen and ourselves. Kathleen and Tess have been pals since they met in Shannon Hotel School in the early 1950’s. Tess was a regular visitor to our house throughout the years and we always loved to see her. We particularly loved to hear her stories from her days as young hotel students in Shannon. It is a testament to Tess and the bond she had with the group of girls who met there as they kept in regular contact over the years and got together every couple of years to reminisce about old times and catch up on where each was at in their lives. We will miss Tess. May she rest in peace.

I would like to offer condolences to my uncles Colm and Aidan on the passing of their much loved sister, and my aunt, Teresa.
Teresa played a significant part in assisting with our family hotel business back in the 70’s. She was a frequent visitor to our house in Dalkey and could always be relied on to bring a nice cake from the Tea Time Express. Teresa was well-traveled and would regale us with her adventures in far-flung corners of the globe. She was also a wonderful cook and a very generous host; we enjoyed some lovely dinners (and always a few nice bottles of wine) at her home in Booterstown on our infrequent trips back home.
Though my family is now scattered across the globe, we all have special memories of our aunt Teresa; she will be fondly remembered and missed by myself, Niall, (both of Perth, Western Australia), Daragh (Prague), and Aoibhinn (Scotland).

May she Rest in eternal Peace
