Archdeacon Casey takes his place among a distinguished list of parish priests who administered in the parish of Doneraile since the early 1800s. While many of his predecessors excelled as poets, writers and motivators of social change, Fr. Casey’s legacy lies in his excellence at giving witness to and communicating the transformative message of our faith. His finely honed, enlightened and erudite interpretation of scripture re-invigorated belief in the Christian message and re-assured with its sense of hope. We are immensely grateful for the gift of his presence amongst us. Our sincerest condolence to his sister Aileen, the extended family, his many friends and colleagues.
