So sorry to have missed Theresa’s funeral only heard of her death yesterday. Theresa had such a big heart so generous so committed and so compassionate. What a Christian and a great lover of st Francis. No doubt she is with the lord. Sympathies to you Monica and all the family. Pax Des McNaboe

I have the fondest memories of going with my Gran to visit Auntie Molly, Theresa, Monica and the guys on Manor St. so so many times!! Fast forward … my husband and I had the greatest pleasure of having Theresa join us as a guest at our wedding at the Shelbourne in recent years. A memory we, and our family, will cherish forever. Salvador with her beloved sister Monica. Never afraid to speak out when it was needed. Theresa’s focus was always truth telling from the perspective of the poor and marginalised. Hope you and Archbishop Oscar Romero are having great chats. . Rest in peace

Dear Pat and family

I was so sorry to hear about the death of your beloved sister. The going of such a loved one never finds us prepared and brings inescapable loneliness and sorrow.

The sense of absence and silence, which a person like Theresa leaves, will be great. I can’t begin to imagine what her loss will mean to you and your family, and I know that words are cold comfort at a time like this – you are much in my thoughts at this difficult time.
