Deepest sympathy to Bridget, Chris and the extended Lambe family. I was in the first year of Scoil na Mainistreach in 1979 and I can only say Mr Lambe was a fantastic Principal. He was so kind , understanding and gentle in his ways. He set up a fantastic school and his legacy lives on to this day. A pure gentleman has been mentioned more than once in the condolences here and that is what Tom Lambe was. May he now rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the extended Lambe family at this very sad time.Tom was the best example of a true gent each and every time we met. he was a gifted and brilliant teacher, bringing all subjects to life in any school he was involved with. his interest in all sports was exemplary. the amount of time he gave to the youth of Celbridge was enormous and his passion and insight into all aspects of gaelic games and athletics will live with hundreds of us for decades.

Heartfelt sympathy to you Brigie ,and Chris and Julian on the passing of your beloved Tom. It was my great privilege to replace Tom as Principal of Scoil na Mainistreach when he retired. The school community he had created was a proud legacy to everyone in Celbridge. He was simply one of life's thorough gentlemen and a steadfast and genuine friend. I shall miss him and treasure my memories of our friendship. May he now have that peaceful rest he so deserves..
