Tom was our postman in Glenbourne for many years. He was always in good form and would always wish me good morning when we met. It was clear that he was the ultimate professional in his work and was always determined to deliver the mail not matter what the weather. It was clear that he was held in high esteem by all who knew him. My deepest condolences to his wife Emma, his son Jason his wider family and to all his colleagues and friends.

My deepest condolences to Toms family. He was our postman in Glenbourne View but he was more than that. He was an absolute joy. His beautiful smile and demeanour always cheered me up. Always had something nice to say and you felt good after meeting Tom. An absolute gentleman. May he rest in peace. Tom will be missed by all who knew him.

So very sorry to hear this news. Tom was such a gentleman. We would see Tom nearly every day and the kids always made a point of running to the door and saying hello to him. He was always very good with them too. Our condolences to the family at this terribly sad time. May he Rest In Peace.

We were devastated to hear of Toms sudden passing. He was a pal first and our postman second. He was incredibly generous with his time and always stopped for a chat. He loves our dog Millie and whenever he see her in the estate you’d just him billow “Mmmmmmiiillllllllleeeeeee” and she’d go running for him and they’d have their snuggle. I can’t believe we won’t hear that again. He was very loved by anybody that met him because of his genuine, honest heart. We will miss him. Love and prayers to Toms entire family.

When we saw him in Dunnes he always said hi to us by name (he delivered so many packages to our apartment during Covid that he got to know us). May he rest in peace.

Tom was our postman but more than that he became a friend over the years- always stopping for a chat with his welcoming smile and great sense of humour. Our two girls used to love meeting 'Tom the postman' at the door or when out for walks. We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Tom- he will be so very missed. Condolences to the Mannion family. Like many others in the neighbourhood we got to know Tom during lockdown as he was delivering so many packages and always had a smile and a kind word for us. He was always so nice to the kids and they loved seeing him when we were out walking, He will be missed so much in the area.
