I met Simon afew times in the 90s and always remember how warm he was. He spoke so lovingly about his wife Phil who was pregnant at the time, and it alwaeys stuck with me how happy he was and how he was really a family man. I send prayers to his family and pray he rests in peace

Such a strong voice on the radio. Always delivering a thump statement, especially with a new release. I'd always sit up and glue to the next comment which was gauged, measured and so true. He presented and delivered so well and of course, voicing with eloquence God speed to the sky radio. The beat goes on.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of dear Thomas. We have such fond memories from the years living next door to your mam and dad in Carpenterstown.
From Thomas dropping in Smash Hits magazines and sweets when we had Chicken Pox to our yearly birthday shoutout on Zig and Zag.
Thomas's good nature carried through to my own children, he would search his pockets for a few pound for the little one any time we saw him.
May his gentle soul rest in peace
