“To know him was to love him” seems apt. I started in Aer Lingus on the same day,and in the same group as Tommy. I liked him immediately, and over the years, I realised EVERYBODY liked Tommy. He was infectionately good humoured and kind.After he left I accidentally bumped into him at Sutton cemetery,and even in our sadness, I came away the better of having met him.
My only consolation is, that I will join him in Dardistown some day, and PG we will laugh again in Heaven. RIP Tommy, and please send all the strength you can, to the Loved Ones you left behind.
