I was so sorry to hear about Tom; he was a regular fixture in the Central Office when I worked there - he was the best craic with his joke of the day, his love of Mozart, and his nicknames for people (I was Julianne Moore on account of my red hair). When the office closed just under two years ago, I really missed Tom coming in to us each week, so it will be bittersweet when we re-open fully as I was hoping to see him again. My sincere condolences to his family.

Doris, Celene and families, I was so shocked and sorry to hear Tom was gone so suddenly. I'll really miss his phone calls reminding me to listen to RnaG on a Sunday night and Lyric and TG4 at various times. Tom was always so good humoured and upbeat that you forgot he was such a great age and had health issues. Everything was always terrific with Tom and he was terrific too. He will be missed by so many people around the Four Courts. May he rest in peace and bring all his jokes to a better place.

He was a legend to all of us. He lived life to the full. It was a pleasure to have know him. May he rest in peace.
