Thanks for all the support, teachings and memories Tim. For igniting a passion in Acting, directing and writing. I have amazing memories of training in the Focus Theatre under Tim's guidance. Of seeing some really brilliant work. And of Tim demanding truthfulness on stage. What a gift of an actor, director, teacher and human being he was. A force of nature when he was on and off that stage. Rest In Peace Tim!

Tim….

I loved the time we spent together practically every day for the last 2 years….our trips to Ranelagh, to Humphreys for a pint, sitting on the bench on Marlborough Road having your smoke and a can of Guinness, our trips to the beautiful Church on Beechwood, the walk down the canal, to Charlemont Street, and Dartmouth Square, which held so many special childhood memories for you…and not forgetting our many, many trips to Herbert Park, where you were taken to by your Grandfather, who you adored, when you were a child……you took such joy from these simple things, and honestly made me feel like I had given you the world….your appreciation was so profound…I will miss you more than words could ever say….I am totally lost without you…..Tim McDonnell…I’m glad you passed my way.

Sad to hear of Tim's passing. I knew him from the Focus and from New York and then back in Dublin. Irrepressible Tim I will miss him and his fighting spirit. I only just found out from my brother Peter.
