Timmy was a great uncle and also a good friend. I used to love having long conversations about the O’Sullivan family and Tim’s sporting exploits inside and outside the boxing rink. Timmy O'Sullivan, Jack Cutbert and Packie Cremin all THREE of them WERE the Ballinlough boxing club back in the seventies. He never forget me even after 30 odd years in New York. Met him and his wife Ellen this past February when I was home on holidays and we had a chat over a pint in The Silver Key. He never lost his great sense of humor and he was always such a gentleman. When I was 15 he inspired me to keep boxing after I wanted to quit. Rest In Eternal Peace Timmy O'Sullivan. You're up there with all the greats looking down on us all. My heartfelt condolences go out to his Wife Ellen, his children and Grandchildren at this very trying time.
