Very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Along with Terry Cooney have great footballing memories from school days. We lost contact after finishing school but was delighted to meet Tom at his brother Terry's house in Clontarf some years ago and spent a very pleasant evening in Tom and Magg's company.
Sincere condolences to all Tom's family.
— Frank Manning
Sincere sympathy to Maggs and the extended Carroll family on Tom's death. Tom and I met very early days in St. Vincent's Glasnevin, after a football match in the Phoenix Park. It was the start of a lifelong, steadfast friendship.

Tom and his parents Paddy and Peggy, including Pat, Terry, Colm and Brendan had a huge influence on my travels through life. Unfortunately with covid and illness we did not spend so much time together over the past few years, He was a loyal friend and I will miss him greatly
— Terry and Teresa Cooney
