Tom’s exploits as a hurler & footballer were often spoken about in our house growing up in Hacketstown as my father was heavily involved with the Clonmore teams that won the Championships in 1955 & 56. I was privileged to get to know Tom myself in recent years and it was an honour to carry his coffin at the funeral along with my colleagues from Clonmore GFC. May Tom’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
