I remember meeting Tom and Catherine when we started off on our Nursing career in the Jerv greeting all new entrants and their parents in March 1984. They loved interacting and making a connection with people.

May the wonderful memories sustain you for the journey ahead. Have no regrets Joan you were exceptional to your Dad for his latter years leaving no stone unturned for his care needs.

He loved Crosshaven and like my own family Crosshaven was home from home, any time we would meeting him and your beautiful mam Catherine strolling in the village he was never Mr O Riordan , he would say " Ah stop it's Tom when were down in Crosser." May Tom's gentle soul rest in peace with his beloved Catherine.

He was a true gentleman and was happiest when he was with Aunty Catherine. When I moved to live in Dublin they made me so welcome and really helped me settle in with a constant welcome to their home in Granville Road. I will always remember their kindness. RIP Uncle Riordan.
