My most sincere condolences to all of Tom's family and friends. He will forever remain at the core of my fondest memories of my trips to Ireland. May he rest in eternal peace.

My sincere condolences to the whole of the Prendergast family on Tom’s passing. Tom was a stalwart, principled “old school” civil servant who was much appreciated and highly regarded by all who worked with him. I had the privilege of his company, his professional advice and his calm reassurances as head of finance over many years. He was a good man, through and through, in every sense of the meaning of that word.

My deepest sympathies to Michael and Fiona and all the Prendergast family and Mary & Janet on the passing of Tom. I always remember Tom as being very sincere, genuine and likeable. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Very sorry to read and hear of the sad and untimely death of Tom. Had the privilege to speak with Tom last December at the reposing of my Uncle (Eamon) remains in Faughill and he was well informed of my connection with Thomas and Caitriona (Regan) as work colleagues of mine here in Galway.
He came across as a true gentleman who was a great community man and the pride in and love for his family was clearly evident during our conversation.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Sincere sympathy to Anne and family. I recall being a colleague of Tom many moons ago in the LC in Merrion Street, Dublin and afterwards in Davitt House. Tom was a very friendly person and often we would have a great chat. I hadn't seem Tom since I left Davitt House in 1978. May Tom's soul rest in eternal peace.
