Very sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. We've known Tommy for a long time and have lovely memories of him dancing and playing music over the years at fleadhs and musical events. We treasure a recording of us all dancing together which was sent to us by PJ Blake when we didn't even own a video camera. Tommy's music and dancing will live on in our memories.

Comhbhrón ó chroí le teaghlach Tommy. Ba mhinic é agus a chlann cheolmhar mar aíonna sna hoícheanta airneáin againn i Sráid na Cathrach. Thug sé an traidisiún ceoil agus damhsa ar aghaidh ó ghlúin go glúin sa teaghlach sin, ach d'fhan spiorad na hóige ann féin i gcónaí. Solas na bhFlaitheas dó.

Sincere sympathies to all the Browne family at this very sad time. Tommy was an absolute gentleman who always had time and a kind word for everyone. We feel so privileged to have known him and loved meeting him on our trips to Clare or when he came to visit in Boherbue where we shared many tunes, songs, stories and dances with him over the years. He always encouraged us when we were younger and was so generous in sharing his talents and wisdom with us. We will miss that infectious smile and fantastic sense of humour that Tommy held. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
