My sincere sympathy to Ellen and the Godley family. Tommy was very involved in the athletics in the Tullamore Harriers and an amazing coach to me, always very supportive and kind and always got the best out of us. He was loved and will be missed. May Tommy rest in peace.

It was a great shock to hear of Tommy's passing, having known him for many years through athletics, we enjoyed his company at many athletic and social events. During those years we saw first hand his love of being involved with young people be it in sport or teaching Tommy was always ready to listen and be there if needed, he gave of himself unselfishly and helped many in the process and he will be remembered with love and affection by all who knew him. RIP
