My sincere and heartfelt condolences to you all at this sad time.
Tommy was one of the kindest men we had the pleasure of meeting. Always so helpful during the tournament, getting the jerseys signed when the kids were young and taking care of us when attending matches.
You will be sorely missed Tommy but I’m sure you will be regaling our loved ones in heaven with lots more stories.
Rest In Peace.

Sorry to hear of your father's death Anthony. I remember a conversation some of the boys were having once in the club about what a great driver Tommie was, never braking hard going down the gears. At the time, years before I drove I hardly understood what they were on about! Don't know why that stuck in my head! So among all his other attributes a great driver.

Sincere sympathy to Anthony, Marion, Clare and the extended Lynch family on the sad passing of Tommy. His positive contribution to the GAA over many decades has been rightly praised. His support for voluntary youthworkers on the Northside of Cork City particularly in the 70s and 80s was so much appreciated and valued by those of us who had the privilege to call Tommy our friend. His legacy is one of selfless service to his community and we are the better for it. May he rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to the Lynch Family on the passing of Tommy, a true legend of Cork GAA. His official title may have been groundsman for the Cork County Board at Pairc Ui Chaoimh and Pairc Ui Rinn but he was an unofficial advisor on what proposals would or would not work in the development of both Stadia. He was a marvellous story teller with a quick turn of phrase and was never caught for a response. He will be truly missed. May he rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to the Lynch family on the death of the wonderful Tommy. Tommy was the most helpful person I have ever encountered on any of my visits to either of the two Pairc’s down through the years. Whether I was there in my professional capacity, with the Barrs or for the John Kerins Tournament Tommy was the go to man and he never let us down. Everyone involved in GAA In Cork is much the poorer for Tommy’s loss. I’ve no doubt he has a room just inside the pearly gates to greet all the arrivals. RIP Tommy.
— Mick Comyns
