I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Tony. I was saddened to hear that he has passed away. I was a pupil of his back in the early 1970s in St. Joseph’s CBS, Fairview, Dublin. I got on very well with him. He was a decent, fair and friendly man. He was also very proud of his Co Tipperary roots. I met him by chance at a function some years after I finished school and he remembered me immediately. May he Rest in Peace.

Deepest sympathy to all the family and thank you for letting us say goodbye today.
We are going to miss Tony so much. When our children were small and it was difficult to get baby sitters for a whole week so we could be in a show, Tony came up with a plan. Every second year he wrote a part for Jack then the next year it would be my turn. It was so thoughtful.
The cast enjoyed the rehersals as much as the audiences enjoyed the shows. Rest in peace Tony.
