So sorry to hear about Tony, he was one of my favourite teachers at Carrick VS. A kind soul and genuinely lovely person - RIP

My sincere sympathies to the O’Malley family on the loss of their dad. Such a creative, hardworking man and a very kind teacher. He lived a very interesting life and his love for his family was so evident from our last conversation. My thoughts are with you all.

Sincere sympathy to the O'Malley family on the passing of Tony, I never had the pleasure of having him as a teacher but I always remember him for his tuck shop, where we were treated to a variety of crisps and other goodies which was a God send, particularly when it was lashing rain outside and one couldn't get up the town. He also sold second hand school books at a cheaper rate than they were in the shops which was a big help at the start of the school year as new books were very costly. A very nice person who always went out of his way to help you, may he rest in peace.

I am very saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. He was an inspirational teacher at Carrick VS and also acted as a career guidance counsellor to many of us. Mostly though I just remember him as being a very nice man who gave us confidence ahead of our Leaving Cert. My condolences to his family and friends.
