What a tragic loss of three beautiful ladies and their two dogs. I just hope they are gone to a better place and are resting in eternal peace. My deepest condolences to the extended family 🙏
— Fiona Connors
Dear David
As a very humble, loving and caring husband, father and person that you are, I was always able to see your family through you and I could utterly feel the love and care you had for all three of them. All their lit smiles would tell people the happiness and “fun filled life” they had. I would for sure say that you were always their first reason behind, and who wouldn’t be happy and proud to have a caring, loving father and husband like you are. I would read all the writings about their amazing personalities and the positive impact they had in their communities through sports and other activities. I believe everything starts from home and from having a wonderful and loving family.

No one on earth could fathom the depth of your grief and pain, but we can constantly pray and pray that God gives you the power, strength and wisdom of bearing this tragic loss of your beautiful family. I really feel sorry for your loss. Please be aware that my thoughts and prayers will always be with you. I pray that God looks after you and gives you comfort and may the souls of Una, Ciara and Saoirse rest in peace.

Dear Bruce, my old friend. I am so very sorry for your loss. Incomprehensible. Words cannot begin to express my deep sorrow for you all, nor ease your pain. Keep your friends close. You always made friends easily and you seem to have a huge support network. Lean on them.
May God give you strength in these dark hours. Remember those who have left us never really leave us. They live on here in our hearts until we are united once again. Have courage, have faith. Love and prayers,
Louise

— Debbie Chappat
Words can not sum up the feelings I would like to send to you David and to all the Bowden/Carlin family.
The gravity and unfairness of the snatching award of the beautiful spirits that Una, Ciara and Saoirse are is unfathomable.
I for one, as I know anyone that had the fortune to be able to call them friends will miss them tremendously and will forever have a great whole in my heart where their positive and sparkling energy should be. That is how I will always remember them and I can only hope that this will give you some small comfort to know that so many people in Moycullen feel the same.
Rest in peace Angeles
— Shayna Devaney

Dave,
It was a great shock to learn of the tragedy of loosing Una and the girls so suddenly. After Una’s brave fight with cancer, you would have thought the family had battled enough.
We have fond memories of Una turning up in a Landrover Defender in Zambia to drop ready meals at our house with the girls in the back and her beautiful sunny demeanour. What a pleasure to have known her and to have had her sun shine over us.
Dave, our thoughts are with you as you try to come to terms with such a devastating loss.
Love to you,
Linda and Martin.
— Linda and Martin Clemensson

Beautiful words written by David, and read by Andrew, at today's service to remember Una, Ciara and Saoirse. It is clear that they lived their lives with kindness, consideration for others and fun, and a huge amount of energy. I remember being in awe of Una's sense of adventure, steely determination and calm composure. I remember Ciara's curiosity, pure joy and her huge, huge smile. I’m sorry I never got to meet Saoirse.

Bruce, I'm so glad you met your soulmate and so sad she was taken from you in such a cruel way.
I hope your faith brings you and your wider family comfort. And I hope that all the amazing memories of times with your three girls brings light to darkness. May they rest in peace, always together.
Lest we forget.
