So sorry to hear of the death of Una. She was a lovely lady and loved her scripture. She was a member of the Carmelite Secular Order and attended monthly meetings in Avila, Donnybrook for many years. On behalf of St. Joseph's OCDS Carmelite members I wish to express my condolences to her family.

To Una's family, she loved you all dearly.
Una and I would meet up many Sunday afternoons over the years. She was gentle and kind to all of us. I went with her on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, were we all enjoyed Una's company.
In later years we would visit her in the home, she was special to me as her friend.
May she rest in peace with the Lord.

Deepest sympathies to my Mam (Deirdre), Uncle Eddie and Aunties Isabel, Myra & Siobhán and the wider McCourt family on the passing of your beloved sister/our auntie Una. She will be remembered by all as a very kind and gentle person.
One longstanding memory I have carried of Una is the way she replied to my question as a young child after I watched her in ‘Tolka Row’, when I asked her in my innocence if she could see me while I was watching her on the television. In her very gentle, calm and caring manner, she explained how the television cameras worked and that while she actually couldn’t see me, she knew that I was watching. Rest in Peace, Una.

Aunty Una, fly free you gorgeous, quirky, funny, gentle, woman. Thank you for being the best surrogate God Father to me, and granny figure to all the younger generations in our family. We miss your visits, and that cheeky smile sitting around the dinner table telling funny slightly inappropriate stories that would have us all in stitches. You will be greatly missed but we thank you for all the wonderful moments we got to live with you ❤️
Big hugs and love Ma, Myra, Eddie, Isobel and Deirdre. Sending you all so much love at this time. Myra Jane x
