It was with such sadness I received the news of cousin Val passing. I remember being in the kitchen in Ballinlough with Val and Carrie when I was young and they were like a double act. Oh the stories, always so much laughter. In later years I met Val when she was visiting Cork and reconnected, she was kind and generous with a big heart, always with a compliment. Dear Stephen I am so sorry to hear of the sad and untimely passing of your beloved Valerie. I have fond memories of Valerie when growing up in Lake Lawn. She was the beauty from Ardmahon Est. She was so bubbly and friendly. A great sports person into hockey and tennis in the old club in the village. Ye were a great couple.
