She was a most dedicated official of the sport for many years and was always there to offer encouragement and support to all. We remained great friends for many years after our time in the sport was over. Committed volunteers like Vera are not as plentiful in recent years. I am proud to have known her and proud to say that she was a good friend of mine. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace.
