I was so sorry to hear of Vera’s death. She taught me in 5th class in St. John’s and she was certainly firm but fair!!! She had a great sense of humour and will be missed by the many students she inspired. May Vera rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Feargal and the extended family at this heartbreaking time... I cannot imagine losing both my parents in such a short space of time.
I wish the bed of heaven to them both, as they are reunited once more.

So sorry to hear this Vera was my teacher in the 1970s in St. John’s school I was lucky to have her for two years a wonderful teacher

May she rest in peace. She was my teacher in the mid sventies in St Johns. She was a kind and gentle woman who had the patience of a saint. She taught us well, and often chose to teach us outside on a sunny day or sometimes just chose to teach us something she thought we might enjoy. My concolences to her family.She was a wonderful lady.
