Christy, Lil, Chris, Una, Angela, Barry, Saoirse, Conor, Emma, Saioa, Sophie & Sinead, it was the most treasured honour to be able to say goodbye to Vera this morning. She would have been thrilled with the beautiful floral tributes, the sunshine and the many friends and family who accompanied her on her final journey.

We woke her up on many Saturday nights forgetting the keys to the house and throwing stones at the windows until somebody begrudgingly opened the front door and we stumbled up the spiral stairs to bed... and she always forgave us. Vera was a lady from her head to her toes, full of glamour and always with the lippy in place. An example to us all xxx
