Deepest sympathy to Mary, Matt and the extended families.
I was heartbroken to hear this extremely sad news.
Fr. Frank was an amazing friend and priest to all. One of his greatest attributes was his non judgmental stance on people. He never judged or treated anyone differently regardless of social status. The respect he had for all was so evident in his work. Everyone was important to him and he modeled his life as a true follower of Christ. His generosity was an remarkable quality. I have so many memories of wonderful chats as he was the best story teller and he had a wonderful sense of honour. R.I.P. Fr. Frank

Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Fr. Frank. We remember his kindness, gentleness and sincerity during his time in Ferbane. May he rest in peace.
— Paddy and Ann Egan, Ferbane
We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Fr Frank and wish to extend our sympathy to his brother Matt and sister in law, Mary, and to the extended Gray and Molloy families - family was always very important to Frank.
We knew Frank from his time in Athlone and he was always a welcome visitor in our home. Later we visited him in Ferbane. He worked miracles in every parish in which he served through what he humourously described as a 'guided democracy'. He has left valuable and lasting legacies to the parishes in which he served. Frank was a product of the Second Vatical Council and he lived out the Gospel message in his everyday life. He was the most pastorally inclusive priest we ever had the in our parish, committed to ecumenism and always ready to show compassion to the marginalised. It was dangerous to admire anything in his home because he would literally give you the shirt off his back if he thought you would like it.. Through his frugal lifestyle and his prayerful life he has earned his place among the saints of his loving God. May his gentle sould rest in peace and may he be remembered with love and affection by those who had the privelege of knowing him.

It has been my pleasure to have been in Fr Frank’s company every single Friday night, doing the parish newsletter, for the 14 years he was in the parish of Ballymachugh. He always said that the newsletter was very important to the people of the parish and would often comment on how no copies of the newsletter would be left in the church after mass. He was always interested in how our youth club was getting on. Fr Frank was so loved by the youth that over the past few days nearly every young person in the community came to see him and say farewell.
My deepest sympathy to Mary, Matt, Francis and the extended family of Fr Frank. He was a very good friend, I have been blessed to know him.
We all are so lucky to have had a Saint in our presence and as the song Jealous of the Angels says ‘God must need another angel Around the throne tonight Your love lives on inside of me And I will hold on tight. It's not my place to question Only God knows why. I'm just jealous of the angels Around the throne tonight’
— Peter Mulligan and Family Freeduff, Kilcogy

Frank Rest in eternal Peace.
