I am deeply shocked & saddened at the untimely death of Victor "the inflictor" ( Chess Hero ) Brophy! He left his mark at Bray-Greystones Chess Club, both as a player/personality & skilled craftsman, leaving behind the magnificent Bray Chess Minor Perpetual Trophy; Mahogeny Horse Head/Knight. My heartfelt sympathy to Tom., Helen, Denise, Barbara, Alan & extended family. He taught me a lot & may he Rest In Peace.
