My sincere sympathies to Vincent, Val, Lar, Helen and Elaine, grandchildren and great grandchildren. And to John and Kathleen sincere sympathies also recognising that you knew both Vincent and Elizabeth for the longer period of time.
When Dad passed during Covid, Vincent was there for both myself and Brenda. I could so much feel his huge sorrow and loss for his brother at that time. Despite this he played the head of the family role and provided huge support to both myself and Brenda which will never be forgotten.
He kept in constant contact with me reassuring me that all would be ok in time.
We shared a lot of private moments and he answered so much family history questions that could have been lost.
I would always ask how is Aunt Elizabeth, and his answers were always so positive like, "well she's hanging the cloths out on the line as I'm talking to you".
So when August 14th came and Aunt Elizabeth passed (the same date and month as Dad) the shock was immense. And then as a consequence the news of Uncle Vincent was nearly expected.
But the last two and half months have been very hard. I really miss those phonecalls.
Rest in eternal peace Uncle Vincent and Aunt Elizabeth. You both will be greatly missed. Thank you for everything Uncle Vincent RIP x
