My husband Alan and I are deeply saddened to hear of Vincent’s passing. We are both in shock. Such a big handsome, smiling, happy and spiritual man, full of fun.

Vincent helped me some years ago when I was going through a troubled time. Although we didn’t see him often, he became a very treasured friend to both Alan and I.

Eileen, you and he used to frequent the Warehouse Cafe in Guildhall St Derry. This was our family business and we loved to see Vincent coming in! We were delighted to see he had met a lovely lady to share his life with. If you are ever in Guildhall St, please call in and say hello, I would love to see you. Unfortunately the cafe is now permanently closed, but I still have the shop on the first floor so please come up.

I am sorry we could not attend his online service today, Alan and I only saw the beautiful tribute to him in the Journal this evening ... well deserved.

You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

Deeply saddened on hearing the news of Vincent's passing. Vincent was a great character from a wonderful family and my heart goes out to Majella and Anna, on the loss of their dearly beloved brother. I pass on my sympathies as well to his partner, Eileen. May he rest in eternal peace in the loving company of his parents, Sean & Rita.
