It was always a pleasure to welcome Wesley to Dollymount, as Secretary of the Irish PGA Southern Branch for the annual playing of the Michael Moran Challenge Cup, to which he was very committed. A great loss to golf in Ireland.

We are very sad to learn of the passing of Wesley. A lovely man and great company. We had the pleasure of knowing him and enjoying his company as family friends for many many years. In fact I fondly remember Wesley taking me to see Bournemouth v Chesterfield over fifty years ago whilst on holidays in Bournemouth. Rest in peace Wesley. Trevor Glen and Vera Montgomery.

Very sorry to hear of Wesley's passing and sincere sympathy to his family. Worked on FGC committees with Wesley for many years and it was a pleasure to do so. He did fantastic work for the Club and in raising funds for Suzanne House for many years. I don't think that he could ever be replaced and we will all miss him. Rest in peace Wesley.

It was with great sadness we learned of Wesley's passing on Monday morning. He was not just a colleague but a friend to our branch members and the many committees he served with over the last 40 years. We will remember him with great fondness and we look forwards to formally paying our respects to Wesley, his sister, nieces and nephews in the not too distant future.

I'm so sad to hear of Wesley's passing. He has been a great friend for many years. Since joining Foxrock GC we have played in many mixed events together. Always fun and played in the best spirit. Saddened to hear of the death of Wesley - a true gentleman.

Wesley was a great friend and a generous supporter of Suzanne House, for children with life limiting illnesses. He and Vivienne organized, along with Paddy Moloney and Peter Sharkey, a golf day in aid of the House for many years and which contributed greatly to the care of the children. Wesley was a gentleman with a deep sense of honesty, justice and care for his neighbor. He has left the world a better place for his being amongst us. May God grant him eternal peace.

It is with deep sadness I write this message. Wesley was a great man and a friend to everyone he met. I first met Wesley in the early 90's when playing in PGA Southern Branch events, he ran every event with military procession. I served on committees with Wesley and seen first-hand how hard he worked and gave of his time to help every professional in Ireland. He was a friend to every professional golfer and will be missed by all. My sincere sympathies to all the Pappin family.

Beyond saddened by the passing of Wesley. A wonderful man, he was the heart and soul of the PGA in Southern Ireland. A great support to those starting out and someone I am glad to call my friend. He will be very sadly missed by all who knew him! Sleep well Wesley. And thank you for everything!
