So sad to hear today of the death of Billy Finnegan.
I first met Billy over 60 years ago through his late brother Peter, a founder member of Good Counsel Gaa Club.
I know Billy was a very proud Drimnagh man and had many friends in the parish, and had a great affection for Good Counsel.
Billy’s contribution in his professional capacity to the building of the Good Counsel Club house can never be forgotten. It was always a pleasure to meet and chat with Billy. We would talk about old friends alive, and departed, the Club and the Dubs. He will be very sadly missed.
My deepest sympathy to Mary, Peter, and all the family on your sad loss.
