The death has occurred of
Cornelius (Cornie) O'Mahony
O'Mahony (Newcestown) on May 16th 2024 peacefully in the wonderful care of the Staff at Cork University Hospital and surrounded by his loving family. Cornelius (Cornie) "O'Mahony's Bar", beloved husband of Margaret and dear father of Kay (Quinn), Evelyn (Kennedy), Anne (Sweeney), Kieran, Olivia, Niall and Brian.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sister Noreen (Collins), brothers Donal and Sean, sons-in-law David, Mike, Padraig and Barry, daughters-in-law Hilda and Kelly, his 12 adored grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and community of friends.
Cornie will be lying in repose at his Bar in Newcestown on Sunday from 4pm followed by prayers at 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. John the Baptist Church, Newcestown which will be livestreamed on the Murragh and Templemartin Parish facebook page, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
