Cyril Connolly

The death has occurred of Cyril Connolly, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway aged 47 who has resided in New York City for the last 25 years. Cyril passed suddenly in Elmhurst Hospital in Queens NY on the 26th December 2020.

Predeceased by his father Christopher and brother John. Cyril will be sadly missed by his loving mother Cissie, his brother Willie, sisters Peggy, Kathleen, Pauline, Celine, Geraldine, Carmel, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand nephew, relatives and friends here and in NYC.

May his good natured kind heart and gentle soul rest in peace.

Following current government restrictions and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a private funeral for Cyril will take place. Cyril will leave his home on Tuesday 5th January for 12pm Mass in the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge with burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. House private by request.
