The death has occurred of
Dan Harney
Dan Harney, Rooskey, Bealnamulla, Athlone, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Creagh, Bealnamulla, Athlone, Monday July 27th 2020, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe, in his 94th year. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen (nee Morgan), brothers Peter and Johnny and sisters Maureen and Sarah. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Helen (Clonmacnoise), Marie (Home) and Ann (Dysart), sister Kathleen Griffin, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends.
May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his home on Wednesday evening, July 29th, from 6pm until 7pm. Dan's Funeral Mass will take place in St Brigid's Church, Drum on Thursday morning, July 30th, at 11:30am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
Due to the current Covid-19 guidelines, Dan's Home and Mass will be private to family and close friends only. For those who are unable to attend and wish to express their condolences, please use the 'condolence' section below.
