Dan Murphy

Murphy - The death has taken place of Dan Murphy (US Veteran - Vietnam), Woodbrook, Bishopstown and formerly of Glen South, Banteer peacefully in the wonderful care of the ICU staff at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on February 9th, 2022.  Sadly missed by his sisters Patricia (Farrell), Nora (Sheehan), Georgina, Teresa (Mackey), brothers in law Mike, Bill and Terry, sister in law Kathleen, his many nephews and nieces especially Tara, Ciaran, Oliver, Shane and Terry, his grand niece and nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.  Brother of the late Larry, Tim, Paddy and Mick.

Reposing at McCarthy's Funeral Home, Banteer on Friday, February 11th from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St Joseph's Church, Lyre.  Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12.30pm which can be viewed on link mycondolences.ie. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, for private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the MS Society https://www.ms-society.ie/.
