Dan O'Connor
The death has taken place of Dan O’Connor, Lyroe, Ballingree, President of Aghinagh GAA, who passed away peacefully on July 7th 2022 at Cork University Hospital. Beloved husband to Rose (nee O’Leary), dear father to Michael, much loved grandfather to James, Oisín, Leanora and Micheál. Brother of Siobhan (O’Sullivan) and the late Michael-Bob. Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law, Marie (née Lucey), sisters in law, brother in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Many thanks for the care, respect and affection he was shown by all the doctors, nurses and carers in CUH in his time with them.
Reposing at Fitz-Gerald’s Funeral home Macroom from 7pm Friday with Removal at 8pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Ballinagree. Requiem Mass Saturday at 2pm, Funeral afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom. Please leave your personal message of condolence for Dan’s family in the link below.
