The death has occurred of
Declan David Harnett
Declan David Harnett (late of Aberdeen, Dublin and Kitwe, Zambia) suddenly, on December 26, 2022 in Aberdeen.
Darling husband of Claire, loving and adored father of Erin, Euan and Cian who are all heartbroken.
Forever loved and missed by Claire and his children, his parents Mary and Laurence, siblings Blathin, Ciaran, Clare and Colleen, brothers-in-law, Conor, Jonathan and Kent, parents-in-law Catherine and Gavin, sister-in-law Eleanor and the Johnston family. Also, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large circle of friends and work colleagues.
Declan’s Funeral Mass was celebrated on 10 January 2023 at St Francis of Assisi Parish Church in Aberdeen.
Declan has been a shining light to us. We are grateful to have shared in his short life. We will continue to be inspired by his kindness, generosity and devotion to Claire and his young family.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
