The death has occurred of
Deirdre McCann
(née Byrne)
McCann (née Byrne), Deirdre (late of Marino) – 8th September, 2023 (peacefully) at the Mater Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Austin and loving mother of Ciarán, Rónán and Saoirse. Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by her children and their partners, Zhihui, Linus and Paul, her grandchildren Linnéa and Stella, her beloved dog Tom, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday afternoon (17th September) with a Gathering of Family and Friends from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock. Removal to Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel on Monday afternoon (18th September) for a Celebration of Deirdre’s Life at 2.30 o’clock. All welcome. In lieu of flowers, Deirdre’s family have requested that a donation be made to Dogs Aid, in her memory.
