Demond (Dessie) Whelan

Whelan Desmond (Dessie) 27th August 2024 (Clondalkin and late of Crumlin) peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of all the staff of St. James’s Hospital ; beloved husband of the late Annie and loving father of Des, Sandra, Lorraine, Robbie, Kevin and the late Kathryn, loving brother of Marie, Bill and the late Lar also remembering his late sons-in-law Peter and Paul; Dessie will be very dearly missed by his loving children, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Aiden, Hazel, Hannah, Adam, Holly, Luke and Lauren, sister, brother, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village on Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Rowlagh and afterwards for burial to Newland's Cross Cemetery.
