Denis Burns

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Burns, who died peacefully on the 18th May 2024, in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, with his daughter Majella and long time friend Christina King by his side.

Predeceased by his wife Eleanor Burns, son Eugene Burns, sister Margaret Cashman and brother Eugene Burns.

Fondly remembered by his daughter Majella, sons Donal and Noel, grandchildren Dean and Robert Burns.

Deeply missed by his loyal friend Christina King.

Forever loved by his sisters Nellie and Mary, brother Declan together with all his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May His Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Ryan's Funeral Home, Lismore on Thursday from 5pm followed by removal at 7pm to Saint Carthage's Church, Lismore (walking via Main Street and Chapel Street). Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am followed by burial in Saint Carthage's Cemetery, Lismore.
