The death has occurred of
Denis McCarthy
McCarthy (Ballyvolane, Cork): On September 1st 2023, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, DENIS (Late of Verolme Dockyard), dearly loved husband of Irene (née Hanley) and much loved father of Tony, Denise and Mark and loving brother of Anne and the late Kaye and Mary.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sister, son-in-law Brian, daughters-in-law Úna and Sinead, grandchildren Mike, Ruth, Tom, George, Charlie, Mark and Aaron, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Sunday (3rd September) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Monday (4th September) in St. Oliver’s Church, Ballyvolane.
Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
