The death has occurred of
Denis O'Shea
O’ Shea (Killard, Blarney and formerly French’s Villas, Cork), on July 30th 2023, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at The Mercy University Hospital; Denis (formerly An Garda Siochana and St. Paul’s Garda Credit Union, Ltd.), beloved husband of Veronica (née Collins), much loved father of Peter and Kate, treasured son of the late Denis and Margaret and dearest son-in-law of the late Denis and Mary. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, son, daughter, brother Gerard, sister Eleanor, son-in-law David, Peter’s fiancée Leticia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, ex colleagues, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Tuesday, August 1st, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass in The North Cathedral on Wednesday, August 2nd, at 11.30am, which will be live-streamed on www.corkcathedral.ie Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
