It is with great sadness that we share the news that Derek passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blancardstown, on the 2nd November 2023. Loving father of Michelle and Jennifer, loving grandfather of Sadhbh, Roisin, Shane, Sorcha, Emma and Lauren. Derek will be very sadly missed and forever loved by his daughters Michelle and Jennifer, his grandchildren Sadhbh, Roisin, Shane, Sorcha, Emma and Lauren, his wife Teresa, his sons-in-laws Eddie and Stephen his sister Anne, his brother David, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May he rest in Peace.

Reposing at Mc Entaggart’s Funeral Home, Dunshaughlin (A85 DE70) from 5pm until 7pm on Monday. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.30am in S.S. Patrick and Seachnall’s Church, Dunshaughlin, followed by cremation at Glasnevin crematorium at 1.30 pm.
