RICE Derek John (DJ) Island Street Flats, Dublin 8 and Clonfert Road, Kimmage, Dublin 12. November 19, 2021. Suddenly, loving father of Clayton and beloved son of Derek and the late Adele. He will be very sadly missed by his loving father and his partner Dinah, Clayton and his mother Rachel, grandparents Chrissie Rice and John and Nuala McDonnell, uncles and aunts Yvonne, Karen, Alan and Ian, cousins Denis, Chelsea, Luke, Lauren and Paul, extended family and a wide circle of friends, including Dublin County Board, and Donore Boxing Club. His family also remember his deceased grandfather Paddy Rice and uncle Michael.

Reposing at his home on Friday, November 26, from 4pm until 7pm (social distancing guidelines apply).

DJ’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, November 27, at 10am at St. Agnes’ Church, Crumlin, followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium For those unable to attend the Mass may be viewed live at - https://www.crumlinparish.ie/watch-live/ and the cremation service at 12:15pm approximately at - https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/
